On July 13, 2023, a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked between the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, and The Corporation of the City of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. This visionary agreement, signed by Dr. Mohammad Asad Ilyas, Registrar of IBA, and Denise McClure, Acting Director of Economic Development for the City of Brampton, is set to catalyze cross-border innovation, investment, and technological exchange.

The IBA delegation, featuring Ms. Zaitoon Umer, a proud alumna and President of the Alumni Chapter, Urooba Wahidi, another esteemed alumna, and Wajahat Ali Khan, Treasurer of the Alumni Chapter, lent their support to this transformative initiative.

Crossing Oceans, Bridging Minds: IBA Karachi and City of Brampton Partner for Innovation

Driving this collaboration are IBA’s Centre for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), which will serve as key pillars for facilitating information dissemination and unlocking opportunities.

IBA Karachi eagerly anticipates the productive outcomes of this pioneering partnership, aimed at nurturing aspiring entrepreneurs and propelling technological advancement across borders.
